1. The purpose of the activity: Encourage the creation of industrial design and tap the new generation of creative design talents.

  6. Participants & receiving methods:

1. The participants are domestic and foreign enterprises, institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions, design institutions, designers,

Design lovers.

2. Those who are interested in industrial design are not limited to individuals or groups, and group participation is limited to N people.

One of them should sign up as a representative, and the number of participating units and individuals is limited to one.

3. The submitted works must be original works that have not been produced and sold in the market before 2023/11/30.

Works that have not been published and shared in any local newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs, etc.

and other activities works that are deemed to have been published publicly or design award-winning works cannot be re-submitted.

4. The works cannot participate in other industrial design competitions or art grant applications at the same time.

5. Anyone who violates the above regulations will be disqualified from winning the award, and the prize money, trophy, or shortlist certificate will be recovered.

7. Manuscript form:

1. Contestants shall submit a design drawing for review (electronic manuscript provided).

2. The size of the submitted drawing is A3 size or A4 size , and the resolution is 300dpi.

The format is JPG or JPEG, and the size does not exceed 15M.

3. The content of the drawing should include the title of the work, the three-dimensional effect drawing, the appearance dimension drawing, and the three-view description of the product.

4. The total number of words on the page is controlled to 500 words, explaining the design theme and concept innovation,

The name of the work on market prospects, design drawings, etc. must be consistent with the name of the work submitted on the application form.

5. The name of the contestant or other information related to the contestant shall not appear in the design drawings and design instructions.

Otherwise, it will be considered a violation and will be disqualified.

8. Evaluation method:

(1) Online voting:

1. Deadline for online voting: 2023/12/01~2023/12/10

2. Announce the admission of the top three works and participate in the jury with 3~5 credibility to select the best one

3. Evaluation criteria for online voting:

A. Creativity (20%): originality, marketability, creativity in line with thematic thinking

B. Design performance (20%): competition theme performance, aesthetics, human factors engineering, human-machine interface design description.

C. Technical feasibility (30%): Technology that can be realized and mass-produced immediately.

D. Want to own (50%): those who want to pre-order the product after it is produced.

(2). Review by the jury:

1. Start deadline: 2023/12/11~2023/12/20

2. The top three works in the online selection will participate in the judging panel with 3 to 5 credible judges and the best one will be selected.

3. Evaluation criteria for online voting:

B. Design performance (20%): competition theme performance, aesthetics, human factors engineering, human-machine interface design description.

C. Technical feasibility (30%): Technology that can be realized and mass-produced immediately.

9. Rewards:

1. Design Theme 1 "Private Bodyguard Bracelet" The prize money for the first prize is NT$300,000.

2. Design theme 2 "Small objects that go with you like a shadow" The prize for first prize is NT$100,000.

3. For those who win the first prize of any theme product, both parties A and B will sign a cooperation contract.

The patent right belongs to the developer and the designer. The designer is responsible for product patent application, and the developer is responsible for advertising, marketing,

Production, distribution, and after-sales service, the designer enjoys a 10% bonus on the marketing amount of the product until the product is off the shelf

The cooperation will be terminated after the product is discontinued.
